I don't understand, all 3 do the same thing ? and I did a test and couldn't pick up a key or a coin........ I don't get how to use these new things at all.
I can create a short demo of these new tools later today. The two new buttons cycle things on the board, the same way the purple button does—but the graphic of that has been changed to match this new design. The two new buttons change the boots or keys in the game (but not in the inventory).
The new clone machine rules allow for cloning collectible items. So now with the push of a red button, you can make copies of keys, boots, or chips.

Hah. I grossly underestimated the amount of time I'd be working today. Started at 6am. It is now 9:30pm and I'm still at it. Maybe by the end of the week?
This week has really slain me. As of the end of end of day yesterday, I was at 70 hours for this work week—after large amounts of overtime last week, and no day of the weekend fully off.
Sometime, I will play with these new toys.
